Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply when you access or use https://lootmap.gg/ or any LootMap.gg website, subdomain, page, feature, database, guide, or interactive tool that links to them. We refer to all of these as the “Site.”

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. About LootMap.gg

LootMap.gg is an independent, fan-made interactive game map tool.

Unless we say otherwise, LootMap.gg is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected with any game developer, publisher, distributor, platform holder, or other rights owner.

2. Eligibility

You may use the Site only if the laws that apply to you allow you to enter into these Terms.

If you are below the age of legal majority where you live, you may use the Site only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Revised Terms take effect when we post them unless we state a later date.

The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when we last revised the Terms. If you continue to use the Site after revised Terms take effect, you accept the changes.

4. Permitted use

Subject to these Terms, you may use the Site for lawful, personal, informational, and non-commercial purposes.

You may link to a public page on the Site if the link is lawful and accurate and does not falsely suggest sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation.

We reserve any permission that these Terms do not expressly grant.

5. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

  • Use the Site for an unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful purpose
  • Try to gain unauthorized access to the Site, accounts, servers, systems, or networks
  • Interfere with the Site’s operation, security, availability, or performance
  • Introduce malware, malicious code, automated exploits, or harmful material
  • Bypass access controls, rate limits, robots directives, or technical restrictions
  • Scrape, crawl, harvest, copy, or extract Site content at a scale or frequency that creates an unreasonable burden, breaks the law, or helps build a substantially competing service
  • Use Site content or data to train, evaluate, or improve a commercial machine-learning or artificial-intelligence model without our prior written permission
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
  • Impersonate LootMap.gg or another person or organization
  • Remove copyright, trademark, attribution, or proprietary notices
  • Use the Site in a way that infringes intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights
  • Encourage or help another person violate these Terms

We may restrict or block access if we reasonably believe someone has violated these Terms or is abusing the Site.

6. Informational and fan-made content

The Site provides game-related information for general information and entertainment.

Games change often. Patches, regional and platform differences, translations, random systems, hidden mechanics, and incomplete source data can make Site information inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date.

You are responsible for checking information before relying on it. LootMap.gg does not guarantee that:

  • Content is complete, accurate, current, or free of errors
  • Calculators, planners, maps, databases, or recommendations will produce a particular result
  • Information applies to every platform, region, language, game mode, patch, or account
  • The Site will always be available or uninterrupted

Nothing on the Site is professional, legal, financial, medical, or other regulated advice.

7. Intellectual property

7.1 LootMap.gg content

Except for third-party materials, LootMap.gg owns or licenses the Site and its original content, organization, selection, compilation, layout, interface, software, databases, tools, graphics, and other materials. Applicable intellectual property laws protect these works.

Unless applicable law allows it, you may not reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, license, modify, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit LootMap.gg content without our prior written permission.

Game names, logos, icons, artwork, screenshots, videos, characters, story elements, audio, trademarks, and other game-related materials belong to their respective owners.

The Site may use these materials for identification, documentation, commentary, criticism, review, comparison, or other informational purposes. Their inclusion does not suggest ownership, sponsorship, endorsement, or official status.

7.3 Trademarks

You may not use “LootMap.gg,” the LootMap.gg name, or its branding in a way that causes confusion or falsely suggests affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement.

All third-party trademarks belong to their respective owners.

If you believe that content on the Site infringes your copyright, trademark, or other rights, email contact@lootmap.gg.

Your notice should include:

  • Your name and contact information
  • The protected work or right involved
  • The exact URL of the material in question
  • A description of the alleged infringement
  • An explanation of your authority or relationship to the rights owner
  • The action you want us to take
  • Any evidence reasonably needed to evaluate the request

Where appropriate, we may remove, restrict, or change content. We may ask for more information before taking action.

Submitting a false, misleading, or abusive report may have legal consequences.

9. Feedback and submissions

If you send suggestions, corrections, ideas, data, text, images, files, or other materials (“Submissions”), you represent that you have the right to provide them and that our use of them will not violate any law or third-party right.

Unless we agree otherwise in writing, you give LootMap.gg a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, display, and incorporate your Submission. We may use it to operate, improve, promote, and maintain the Site.

You keep any ownership rights you have in your Submission. We do not have to use or publish it, give you credit, or compensate you for it.

Do not submit confidential information or any material you do not want us to use under this section.

The Site may link to or integrate with third-party websites, games, platforms, stores, communities, videos, social networks, advertisements, or services.

We do not control third-party content, products, services, policies, security, availability, or practices, and we are not responsible for them. A link or reference does not mean that we endorse it.

The third party’s own terms and policies govern your use of its service.

11. Advertising and affiliate disclosure

The Site may display third-party advertisements or include affiliate links.

We may receive compensation when an advertisement is displayed, viewed, or clicked, or when someone buys a product or service through certain links. Unless we say otherwise, this does not increase the price the user pays.

Advertisers are responsible for their advertisements and sponsored materials. The appearance of an advertisement on the Site does not mean that LootMap.gg guarantees or endorses the advertised product, claim, or service.

12. Site availability and changes

We may add, remove, change, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time.

We do not have to maintain a particular page, feature, URL, tool, database, language, or item of content. We may also perform maintenance or set usage limits when reasonably necessary.

13. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

LootMap.gg disclaims all warranties and representations, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. This includes warranties of accuracy, completeness, currency, reliability, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and freedom from harmful components.

We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, free of errors, or compatible with every device or system.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LootMap.gg and its owners, operators, contributors, contractors, service providers, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages. They will also not be liable for a loss of data, profits, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill, or use arising from or related to:

  • Your access to or use of the Site, or your inability to use it
  • Your reliance on Site content
  • Errors, omissions, interruptions, security incidents, or data loss
  • Third-party content, advertisements, products, services, or websites
  • Changes to a game, account, item, build, strategy, market, or service
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of transmissions or information

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LootMap.gg’s total aggregate liability for all claims related to the Site or these Terms will not exceed the greater of:

  1. The amount you paid directly to LootMap.gg for use of the Site during the twelve months before the event that gave rise to the claim; or
  2. USD $100.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that the law does not allow us to exclude or limit.

15. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless LootMap.gg and its owners, operators, contributors, contractors, service providers, and affiliates from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, that arise from or relate to:

  • Your misuse of the Site
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of applicable law
  • Your infringement of another person’s rights
  • A Submission you provide

This section does not apply where the law prohibits it.

16. Suspension and termination

We may suspend, restrict, or end your access to all or part of the Site if we reasonably believe that:

  • You violated these Terms
  • Your use creates a legal, security, operational, or reputational risk
  • We need to restrict access to protect the Site, its users, or third parties
  • The law or a valid legal request requires us to do so

Terms that should remain in effect after termination will do so. These include the provisions on intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and disputes.

17. Governing law and disputes

The laws that apply to the operator of LootMap.gg govern these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection law requires otherwise.

Before filing a formal claim, you agree to email contact@lootmap.gg and try to resolve the dispute informally.

Nothing in these Terms limits a non-waivable right or remedy available to you under applicable law.

18. Severability

If a provision of these Terms is unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted, and the rest of the Terms will remain in effect.

19. No waiver

If we do not enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not waive the provision or our right to enforce it later.

20. Entire agreement

These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any additional terms shown for a specific feature make up the entire agreement between you and LootMap.gg about the Site.
